SafetySight & HighBall Kit for Mossberg Tang Safety

I liked the idea and the sight is nice but unfortunately the Allen screw supplied is about useless as it’s simply a round hole. I got everything together easy enough but when attempting to tighten the screw with the supplied wrench the wrench just spun. No big deal, grab the Allen set and just use the correct size, nope, they All spin. Take a close look and sure enough a perfectly round hole. Now I gotta take it apart again, go to the hardware store and find a suitable replacement. Not a big deal but still time I shouldn’t need to spend if QC was sufficient. I would recommend this product but know you need to check everything first

This Combo is exactly what I needed for my Mossberg 500 Home Defense Shotgun setup. The Highball front bead is a nice improvement over the factory bead that comes on the 18.5” Breacher barrel. These beads should be factory on all Mossberg barrels in my opinion. The safety has a very nice feel to it as well with a nice audible click when selecting safe/fire mode. All in all I couldn’t be happier with this product. The staff at Defender Tactical are very helpful, courteous, respectful, and undoubtedly have the best customer service I have ever received from any store ever. Great products, Great people. Will definitely be ordering more parts or future replacement parts from here for sure.

I purchased my Mossberg shockwave in December and it set in a box until about a month ago when I decided I wanted to do some upgrades so I seen this company on YouTube, its family owned and operated which I love and it's out of Texas !

So the first upgrade I made was the safety site in highball kit which I love , it's so much better than the plastic one that came from the factory !

The second one was a molded rubber fore end grip which is amazing !

The Third one I seen on their YouTube channel was a pre-production removable buttstock and I had to have it ... So I contacted Wes and he said he would cerakote it in black color and send it out with their revised rear bird head grip to install into 👍 It makes a world of difference and feel so good.

This safety is first of all awesome as a safety alone. Mossberg stock safety is terrible IMO (although I like the location on the tang). While most aftermarket safety's are good I still find they put the thumb rest too far forward to comfortably actuate unlike this one.

I haven’t shot yet using the sight line. Its really a BUIS with my Holosuns being my primary. But in combination with my XS Big Dot & the rear sight channels on my Holosun optics it appears it will work very well for that purpose. Especially with slugs.
