Introducing the Predator Rear Grip and QuickStock System from Defender Tactical. We combined the close-quarters compact profile of a bird's head grip with the ability to quickly attach a lightweight, light-duty shoulderable stock to the rear of the grip for long-range accuracy. The result is the most versatile rear grip and stock system on the market for Mossberg 500, 590, 535, 835 and Maverick 88 shotguns.
The Predator Rear Grip is a bird's head-style, glass-reinforced nylon grip body with rubber overmolded grip panels on top and bottom for increased comfort and control. Similar to our popular grip sleeves for bird's head grips, the unique profile integrates an aggressive palm swell on top of the grip and also provides a pronounced finger groove on the bottom. These features combine to greatly improve your ability to control your weapon during recoil, and the included Rear Recoil Strap ensures your weapon remains tethered at all times. The Predator Rear Grip Kit comes with the Predator Rear Grip, Rear Recoil Strap, mounting hardware, tools and a matching hole plug.
The Predator QuickStock is fully machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and is Cerakoted in Armor Black. The rear butt plate is welded to the extension arm for maximum strength, and the profile of the butt plate is designed to accept any recoil pad made to fit the M-4 carbine. QuickStock attaches and detaches from the Predator Rear Grip in seconds using our unique swage attachment mechanism. LOP = 13".
WARNING. THE FOLLOWING IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE, PLEASE CHECK LOCAL AND FEDERAL LAWS BEFORE ORDERING. While the Predator Rear Grip can be used with any length barrel, using the QuickStock on the 14" Shockwave would reclassify it a Short Barrel Shotgun (SBS), and therefore would require registration and a tax stamp. However any applicable shotgun with an 18" or longer barrel, like the Maverick 88 Security or 500/590 Cruiser shown in the pictures, can run the Predator Rear Grip and QuickStock without issue.
