This magazine tube dent removal tool is designed specifically for the 12-gauge Remington 870 and other 12 gauge models with similar spring retainer dents around the opening of the tube (such as the TAC-14).  Our 2-piece system is superior to other 1-piece swage designs on the market as the additional outer impact ring allows complete removal of the dents while protecting the magazine tube from deformation.

Great tool

I wanted to add a plus 1 extension in a TAC 14, this tool removed the two "dents" in the existing the the daily and quickly.

Making it easy

This is just what the doctor ordered ! Started and finished in less than 15 minutes works perfectly ! The trick to this tool is the ring on the outside of the tube , tapping on the lugs is what moves the metal ! I highly recommend this tool for anyone wanting to remove the dents on your weapon. I looked at another tool on line that was like $90 glad I chose Defender Tactical. Thanks Guys.

Worked like a charm

I was originally nervous about doing anything to the mag tube trying to mess with the dents. I didn’t want to drill them out. My 870 was a gift to me by my parents when I was younger. It holds a lot of sentimental value to me. I put off putting a magazine extension on it due to this reason, but this product made it simple. I screwed on the ring, hammered the swage down carefully with easy hits. Then I lightly hit the ring on the impact points and the dents were smoothed out as if they were never there. Can’t recommend this product more.
